When I think of people who are interested in photography, I think of f-stops, exposure, composition, lighting, the rule of thirds, filters, etc. I also think about a variable plethora of exciting pictures of everything from people to nature, animals to buildings. What I don’t think about is people who take pictures that are 95-99% of themselves.

The world would like us to look a certain way. If we look that way, the limits to what we want are only in our minds. If we don’t look that way, we will be shunned to a back alley where we’re not allowed to play with the others. (more…)
