It’s ironic that I’m writing this blog in February. Bill Simmons, half of the inspiration for this entry, wrote a column describing his take on Rules for Being a True Fan back in 2001. The other half of the inspiration is since college basketball is getting into full swing, I have friends on my Facebook who are willing to devote time out of their lives to talking about college basketball during a month that doesn’t end in -arch. I am officially going to the Nebraska football game on Saturday. This week’s opponent is Iowa State. It’s been six years since I’ve been to a game and ironically, the opponent then was also Iowa State.

I’m stoked to see the big screen and the new field. It’s gonna be crazy not to see option football, but I’ve been so stoked on this offense that I’m creaming myself (shut up eckert).
