One of the Folly Beach Rentals Oceanfront might be just what you need. If your schedule, work requirements and family obligations have lately been pressing you to the limit, then why not push back? Take a small vacation to a spot called the “Edge of America” and show everybody that you are perfectly capable of hanging on firm in the face of obstacles and letting loose when you realize it is time.
Folly Beach, Sc will take you just far enough away from it all to rest and unwind, so think about making your way to this alluring destination when you’re ready to see things from a different standpoint completely.Folly Beach has a amusing name for being such a safe bet. It is a barrier island that extends for about seven miles, and is situated a comfortable eight miles from vibrant Charleston. The sand, sun and fun all constitute the makings of a wonderful time, and combined with the rustic charm and legendary southern hospitality of the region of the country, it’s actually a no-fail formula for vacation success.
A well known surfing place, the Washout, offers great waves for those willing to test their boarding skills. You are going to easily see the Edwin S. Taylor Fishing Pier because it extends plainly into the ocean and gathers together the fun and frivolity that piers are notable for. Most visitors to Folly Beach County Park have the practice of frolicking down to an art, as this place allows you to lose yourself and turn into a child again. From the outdoor umbrella rentals to the picnic areas, you and your loved ones will likely be set to enjoy a properly laughter-filled day on the beach.
Numerous dining establishments are available for satisfying and even defying expectations as to what makes a good dinner. Seafood is plentiful, as you would imagine, however everyone should find a little something to enjoy – and eat. The night can keep going for as long as you would like while you meander down the street and choose from various happenin’ patios to watch the sunset or the people. End everything with a stroll on the beach, romance-novel style, and tell a special someone exactly how you really feel.
Art galleries, local creators and a phenomenon referred to as Bluegrass Jam will prove the artistic depth of Folly Beach’s residents, so do not neglect your cultural side as make your way about. Dancers are also welcomed to cut a rug with members of the Islanders Shag Club. For the uninitiated, the shag is South Carolina’s state dance and it’s alive and well; lessons are provided once weekly and a lot other nights are a free-for-all of shagginess.
The final thing that needs to be mentioned is the Morris Island Lighthouse. Erosion of the beach has caused this towering landmark to be surrounded by water, but the actions of concerned residents have allowed it to be protected from further damage thanks to an subterranean steel retaining wall. Enjoy this distinctive sight and the spirit of the caring community that is reflected upon it.
Now that you see a visit to Folly Beach would not be a blunder, it is time to contemplate lodging. The very best complement to a laid-back seaside trip is a special property which will inspire peace of mind to blossom for you and all your companions; a location which will suit everybody’s needs and provides convenience as well. Check into choosing one of the Folly Beach Rentals Oceanfront that strikes your fancy – it certainly won’t be very hard.
Your vacation to the edge will be an exciting one, and the tales you come back with will likely motivate a few other tourists to stray from the mainstream and check out life as it’s seen from the brink of normalcy.

What should I take on a beach vacation? We are going to the beach in about a Month. My son will be almost 8 months old. I was wondering what I should take to the beach (of course I realize sunscreen with an SPF of 50 and a sun hat…) but is there anything else that could be helpful or that he could play with. Thanks!

Baby powder works well to take off the sand off little ones. Get some sand toys, hard plastic ones that wash off easily, little tikes makes a great truck works great in sand, ice pops the push up kind. And also plastic bags, diapers, wipes. Don’t forget a beach blanket, and umbrella. Have fun!

I’m heading to Jamaica in August…so I’m looking forward to time on the beach as well! When I booked my trip with Spirit Vacations, they had a page on their site that listed good nightlife recommendations…so I’m thinking we’ll hit the beach during the day and the clubs at night!

I am going to Sweden with my wife to pick up her Volvo as part of the Oversea Delivery program. Stockholm is a bunch of islands, but I don’t expect to spend time on the beach. Yet the days will be about 18 Hours long so….

there are tons of things to do. if you want to get closer to the nature and go for a “geography” tour, Grand Canyon and Yosemite national park are a good choice. Theme parks in LA such as universal studio, disneyland and magic mountain are good places to visit as well. LA Vegas for casinos, shows and buffets are good all year round. For beaches, personally i love the one at Santa Monica in LA. There are some many activites for you to do over there – swimming, surfing, volleyball, biking and more. Hope the above information is useful.

What is the nicest cheap tropical or beach vacation spot? My boyfriend and I want to go on a vacation this summer. We don’t have a huge budget so we want something relatively inexpensive but we also want to go somewhere gorgeous and warm. Does any one know of any cheap places (cities, countries etc.) or ways to find cheap flights and hotels? Thanks!

Most people go home for the Thanksgiving holiday, it’s the busiest air travel time of the year, period. So, if you don’t mind dealing with crowds at airports and avoid traveling at least 2 days before and 2 days after Thanksgiving, your plane travel should be okay. There shouldn’t be too many crowds, especially on Thanksgiving, but alot of things might also be closed because it’s not only a holiday week but also off season. Personally, I would go for Daytona Beach but the temps are about the same in either place.

Costa Rica has great food, often live music, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Flights are pretty reasonable and you can treat yourself to a stay in an all inclusive resort.

I would try Rosarito Mexico for a cheaper option. If you live on the west coast you can drive to the border and take the bus. There are tons of things to do in Rosarito, but it still also has the feel of a “real town” as opposed to just a tourist trap. I found an article about it- the article speaks to college kids, but there are plenty of places in Rosarito for older people to go. In fact, most of the college kids go to one or two clubs leaving the rest of the bars for everyone older. Check this out: http://wehow.ehow.com/how_2015575_enjoy-spring-break-rosarito-beach.html
